Stumbled upon this amazing find a few weeks ago and couldn't resist delving deeper. Lakou Mizik is a vibrant collective of musicians from Haiti, using music to convey a powerful message of pride, resilience, and hope for their country. We stumbled across an insightful article on Anjunadeep that explores the band, their album, Joseph Ray, and the story behind this week's song. Although we haven't explored Haitian music before, this discovery has certainly sparked interest to uncover more musical treasures from this beautiful Caribbean island.
