The music video for this song is so great. It was directed by the same guy who made C'mon C'mon with Joaquin Phoenix.

My favorite Air song is probably Surfing on a Rocket, such a gem)

As much as I love Air (the band, and the mixture of invisible odorless tasteless gases (such as nitrogen and oxygen) that surrounds the earth), and this album, I think Beth Hirsch's vocals make this song what it is to me. I've told this story elsewhere, maybe another SL post, but I first heard this album (OK, CD) in a taxi in Sweden after an overnight flight to Europe. Blew my mind. As soon as I exited the taxi, I looked for a music store (remember those??) and bought the CD. Been listening to Air ever since.

This album really stands out, and your story perfectly captures how impactful this album really is. Beth Hirsch’s vocals add so much depth to this track—she truly deserves more recognition for her role, no doubt!

This album ages so fine.

I love Air, lesser known in the States I assume? They were big in The UK.

Their 2024 North American tour promoting the 25th Anniversary of 'Moon Safari' played to several sold-out shows (I tried to get tix to Seattle but they were quickly gone) across the major US and Canadian cities.

Do you remember if the shows were in bigger or smaller venues?

Seattle's was at Benaroya Hall, which seats about 2500-3000. So, it's not huge, by any means, but it's a decent size. I know that they also played at the famed Massey Hall in Toronto and the Beacon Theatre in NYC. Both are similar size venues.

Oh that’s cool! Ah darn, sorry you didn’t get tickets!

I think they must be well known in USA since The Virgin Suicides OST, aren't they?
