I was at the two day recording of "Toward the Within "and also saw Dead Can Dance on tour. Lisa's voice is channeling and I could feel it move through me. Your definition is SPOT ON.

How do you yourself and the global public rate her voice against the likes of Tarja Turunen, who possesses the finest female voice I have ever heard, classical gals included such as Maria Callas and Emma Kirkby, though I do have a soft spot for Cecilia Bartoli. Talking about great voices per se (and you seem to be an extreme music polymath respectful of a multiplicity of genres), the GROK A.I puts a certain Franco Fagioli as reputed to have the world's finest vocal. For mine, that castrato sounding voice is the most moving and ethereal - none other than Handel was reputed to have collapsed when he heard Farinelli sing However, I am against any such castrati practice..
