Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, R.E.M.'s New Adventure in Hi Fi, Depeche Mode's Exciter, Pearl Jam's Ten, and Portishead 's Portishead album- they all have their place in my heart, and I remember every note and every single beat by heart
I vote for The Joshua Tree by U2. The most outstanding song: “ One Tree Hill”, written for the roadie who died on tour. They broke the tour to take back to his home, New Zealand. 2nd most outstanding song: “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”. “Running To Stand Still”. These three songs bring tears to my eyes every time.
This is the only one of U2 that I am able to use the following version only for them using the Harlem choir practice session, which is used in the DVD of all the songs but it's only because of the best 2 collaborations, the first being this song
'STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR' but it looks like a normal video but it's actually the 2nd practice session.
I'm not a fan of U2 as you can guess but it's only because this choir puts it into the stratosphere.
I agree on the version found on RATTLE AND HUM being the better version! I often play it solo, cutting the choir at “He will pick you up when you fall”. I’ts like my sermon for the day. I had read somewhere that that version was recorded in performance at Madison Square Garden..?
Absolutely Joni Mitchell's "Blue"- I listened to it about every single day for a solid year!
That’s definitely vault material
So many, but Rumors - Fleetwood Mac and Whatever people say I am, That's what I'm not - Arctic Monkeys
Yes, this is going into to the vault.
Today’s answer - Marvin Gaye's “What's Going On”
Absolutely!
“Abbey Road” The Beatles.
Even Maxwell?
Yep.
The Cure’s ‘Disintegration’. Even the tracks I skip I only do so because I’ve listened to them too many times.
Sealed and stored in the vault
Days of Future Pasted - Moody Blues.
Quadrophenia
"Ziggy Stardust"
Dark Side of The Moon
Houses of The Holy
Back in Black
Superunknown
The White Album
Talking Heads ~ Remain In Light
So many, but for one artist who has numerous of these in his catalogue - Diamond Dogs by David Bowie
Thanks, Sean
Yes!
Kind of Blue, Miles Davis
Because so many others have already been mentioned, I’d like to offer Waiting for Columbus - Little Feat and Kind of Blue - Miles Davis
Pink Floyd's The Division Bell, R.E.M.'s New Adventure in Hi Fi, Depeche Mode's Exciter, Pearl Jam's Ten, and Portishead 's Portishead album- they all have their place in my heart, and I remember every note and every single beat by heart

It's truly a piece of work that just wouldn't work without that choir
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
