Morrison and Manzarek together made the Doors what they were- the former with his commanding words, the latter with his commanding music.

Some songs are just as fresh today as they were 50 years ago. Pretty incredible track. Thanks so much for highlighting the incomparable Ray Manzarek and the legendary Doors.

True, but did you hear The Doors after Jim Morrison? The best song from that short we was Robbie Kreiger singing The Mosquito. However, I don’t want to sound like I am dismissing Ray Manzarek, he definitely created a unique sound that set The Doors apart. Just think this never happens if Jim doesn’t trip over him one the beach. πŸ˜‰
