Moving past the band name, having never been a smoker it’s lost on me, the sound reminds me more of early Mazzy Star than any of the bands touted as major influences. Two more tracks in, that impression hadn’t changed…

Greg Gonzalez said in an interview in France that Mazzy Star is one of his influences.
