I wasn't quite there for it in 1971, but I imagine the first minute's intro (track 1, side 1) must have been a bit disorienting on the initial listen - i.e. 'what is this?'

The album on which Baba O'Riley appears, Who's Next, was released nearly 53 years ago. The album comes close to being on my all-time Top 10 list. Close.
