This and 'Cricklewood Green' are where they really branch out from the standard white boy blues and found their voice and identity. It was also written when Lee was overcoming his heroin addiction, thus a lot of the lyrics throughout the songs on 'A Space in Time.'
By “Timeless Music”, that to me means bands & solo artists that have proven longevity & having been around for anywhere between 35 - 50 years & who are still playing… Albeit with several lineup changes over the years (AC/DC, The Eagles, Bon Jovi for example). They make classic music that will stand the test of time & not the one-hit wonders that are plaguing the market now.
I love the entire British blues sound of the 60s: Ten Years After, Yardbirds, Bodwyn Pig, Pretty Things, Cream, and especially Rory Gallagher.

Agree, one of the GOATs.
One of them for sure
“I’d love to change the world . . .”
I grew up listening to this. Thanks for the memories.
Good memories
My absolute favorite Alvin Lee performance was when he sang “I’m Going Home” at Woodstock ☮️🎶
I have so much vinyl since a young lady and this is one of them.
Such a fantastic song, not sure I ever knew who sang it, thanks for putting it back on my radar!
Loved this song growing up. Such a killer guitar solo.
Amazing. I’d love to change the world…
Lets do it!
I've not heard this great album in too long; much thanks for the nudge. Must now savor a listen.
Great, love re-discovering.
Really enjoyed this. Thanks.
Great!

Yes, but it can be a single song also right?
Absolutely ✌️😄👍
Was taken up into a UFO back when this was a hit. Talk about extraterrestrial memories.
lol
Dropped acid for the first time at a Ten Years After show in Louisville, KY, 1971.
Sounds like an experience
One of my bands and I used to jam on this one in rehearsal about 35 years ago. Great tune...
Nice, let us know if you have similar tunes.
