And I just saw Ginger Root open for Japanese Breakfast, and OH MY GWAD! I'd never heard of them, and they were probably the most exciting openers I've ever seen. Check out their album Shinbangumi
The new album from Young Gun Silver Fox, 'Pleasure'. Released May 2nd. If I had to pick one song I'd be screwed. You can't go wrong with the first 3: "Stevie and Sly", "Born To Dream", "Late Night Last Train"
That is a good one, too. I haven’t listened to the entire album yet. It’s on my list. I heard that one song on my favorite radio station l, WWOZ out of New Orleans. They have a new music show on Sunday nights.
Last night I saw a startling performance by Carolina Eyck and The Australian Chamber Orchestra - Carolina has been playing the THEREMIN since she was 7 years old and is one of the world's most accomplished performers on this astounding instrument. I'm only now beginning to discover more of her work...
As an introduction I recommend listening to this solo version of 'The Ecstasy of Gold', Ennio Morricone's climactic piece from 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'.
Tommi Aura's cover of "Tainted Love" has been this month's obsession.

Absolutely loving the new Lucius album!
Total surprise for me that I love Jelly Roll's "Liar"... not my usual vibe at all, but it's really sticking with me.
Inland Ocean - Matt Berninger
So excited for this album, all the singles have been awesome but this is my favorite one so far.
Elephant by Jason Isbell
"Stevie & Sly" by Young Gun Silver Fox.

Love it!
Cool! Love the clip too... bit of a 'They Live' vibe?! 😎
Seems like, indeed 😊 Maybe less scary and groovier, thanks to its good and funky vives. Really perfect to start the day, or to end it.
Unfortunately, I only know the sunglasses' scene from "They Live". Never seen the entire film. But maybe one day, who knows... 😉 😎
That's fab
Lover, Leaver (Taker Believer) by Greta Van Fleet.

This is groovy, thx
It sounds like YGSF have lots of fans in the world 🙂 I also love "Stevie & Sly", I wrote here about this song before seeing your comment.
Not heard the whole record yet, but it won’t be long...
Big Dreams by Amyl and The Sniffers ... so looking forward to seeing them live, based on this track alone !
Yep, great choice — I opened my last week’s playlist with that one too.

Lee Michaels - “ Hidi-Hi-Hidi -Ho “ ! Love a B3 with a funk drummer !!
Wild and Clear and Blue by I’m With Her
This is a great song! I’m also blown away by Standing on the Fault Line. Harmonies at end of the track left me speechless.
That is a good one, too. I haven’t listened to the entire album yet. It’s on my list. I heard that one song on my favorite radio station l, WWOZ out of New Orleans. They have a new music show on Sunday nights.

Electra - Dio
Somehow missed this song by Dio only to discover it now. Still, never to late!

I'm mostly old school but it's a tie between Broken Man by St Vincent or Anthem by YONAKA for me
Both have a modern vibrancy from the current generation and rocked me.
